Haha get fucked USC. The Trojans lost the Pac-12 South today by 10 to up comers UCLA. Matt Barkley the once sure Heisman winner threw 3 TDs and 2 INTs. Things could be getting real for Lane Kiffin as this year has been an abject disaster. UCLA once held a 24-0 lead before USC tried to make a comeback. The game was sealed with a 29 yard run from Jonathan Franklin.
e: good, i think. can't wait to see more collapses
Turns out the more appropriate song for Kansas State is 'Cry Cry'. The Wildcats lost in spectacular fashion to Baylor the game isn't even over yet but it's 52-24 going into the 4th so it's safe to start writing the obit now. A true collapse for the ages. Collin Kelin is basically out of the Heisman running at this point, throwing three picks in the game. Now I'm don't know what to do with my life.
Yep, this really happened:
It Hurts alright, hurts to be a Duck. As great as it is to see sad Oregon fans the SEC is back init! Anyway, The Stanford D was really good and pushed around Oregon all game which is pretty much how you have to beat them. Mariotta looked flustered and out of sorts all game. There was questionable catch in the end-zone that ended up being (correctly) ruled a touchdown. It was a great game and the first time both the #1 and #2 teams lost in the same day since a while ago.
I really appreciate Luke Fickell's efforts last year but the time may be soon for Urban Meyer to make a change. Soft coverage after soft coverage let Wisconsin hang around a lot longer than they should have. In the end though Ohio State escaped with a W. The fifth year senior for Wisconsin, playing in his first game since high school, looked pretty good leading his team down the field to take it into overtime. Ohio State may have gotten away with a hold on their first drive in OT but ran it in for a touchdown pretty quickly.
I'm not putting it all on the defense. Miller did not look as good as I'd have expected in a huge game only throwing for 97 yards and running for 48. The OSU D did deny Mon'tee Ball the FBS touchdown record though on a pretty cool/whacky play:
With Oregon and Kansas State losing my OSU #1AP prediction is so close.
Of course this all sets up for Michigan to be the one loss of the year.
PS Kill Gene Smith. THANKS FOR THAT GATOR BOWL IT WAS SO WORTH IT
That might be the best press conference I've ever seen. I see a future in politics for ol' Les.
