HARBAUGHS RULE HARBAUGHS RULE HARBAUGHS RULE HARBUAGHS RULE

Harbowl is one step closer to happening tonight. Colin Kaepernick turned in a performance for the ages, leading his team in both rushing and passing, accounting for four total TDs. Kaepernick bounced back from an early pick-six and never looked back.

The real story is Jim Harbaugh's decision to bench Alex Smith, through no fault of his own, is fully vindicated. There was some controversy over this because of the concussion part of it. Players already will do anything to stay in the game and benching a QB sort of because he got a concussion, basically, sets a dangerous precedent.

Harbaugh, knows QBs obviously as he was the one who groomed Andrew Luck  and most people would say that turned out pretty well. Harbaugh wanted a more dual threat QB and it now looks like he done pretty well for himself.

After tonight I can see both Harbaugh brothers chugging a six pack and crushing the empty cans against their heards while beating up a nerd.

Like the earlier playoff game there's bound to be some discussion over coaching decisions, specifically Mike McCarthy's refusal to switch to zone coverage after getting repeatedly torch in man by Kaepernick.

Next, the Niners play either the Seahawks or Falcons in the NFC Championship game. Personally I'd love for them to play the Seahawks as that quarterback battle would be really fun to watch. I think the Niners would prefer to play the Falcons though as that matchup seems to favor them a lot more. The Niners however would get to play at home against the Seahawks.
